The main goal of Cornerstone Christian Schools is to provide a Christ-centered, quality education, and athletics plays a very important role in achieving this goal.

The strength of athletics lies in its ability to develop traits such as cooperation, determination, leadership, teamwork, perseverance, self-control, discipline of emotion, sportsmanship, humility, commitment and maturity.

Because these qualities are parts of the fruit of the Spirit (Galations 5:22-23), athletics is valuable to the student, the school and the community.

Out athletic program offers all major sports, and has won several state championships in football, volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball.

Competitive sports are vital to the development of each student into an integrated person - one who is spiritually alive, intellectually alert, and physically disciplined.

Our athletic program is extracurricular only in the sense that student involvement is a voluntary privilege, and requires an investment of considerable time outside the school day. Every sport we offer helps teach true Christian character, exemplifying the testimony of Christ in each player and coach participation.
